Meet the Team

  • Kathy Gates

    Kathy Gates, LCSW, CTT

    Kathy has been serving individuals and families for over a decade. Her integrative approach combines clinical skills, energy work and spiritual teachings to facilitate people to grow beyond their expectations. She teaches them to unhook from what can appear and is often identified as chronic suffering. Kathy has been formally trained in human development, Social Work, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP), Jin Shin Jyutsu, the Enneagram and Equine Assisted Psychotherapy. She has an interest in Play Therapy and Internal Family Systems (IFS), as well as both the spiritual and clinical aspects of living from an open heart. She welcomes the opportunity to help you restore balance and harmony in your life and in your relationships. In 2020, Kathy founded Boldly Feminine Retreat Company, where she focuses on wellness and women empowerment. Kathy is also a licensed Femme! instructor.

  • Terry Schultz

    Terry Schultz, LPC

    Terry has a gentle and compassionate strength of spirit teamed with deep understanding of awakening and breaking free from patterns of suffering. He has been providing individual, group, and family counseling along with direct crisis intervention for over 40 years. His clinical skills are significantly enhanced by certification as a Clinical Hypnotherapist, an Enneagram Trainer and a trainer of Neurolinguistic programming. Freedom from emotional conditioning and unnecessary suffering is a natural result of utilizing love and courage to actively assess oneself through Terry’s approach. He has a special skill in utilizing a spiritual and energy awareness that really helps people to be free from stuck emotional and/or thinking patterns. Terry looks forward to furthering freedom in this lifetime by helping others uncover and understand the hidden blessings of the pain that we all must face as humans. Empowerment, safety, happiness, contentment and freedom from suffering are aspects of life that he wishes to facilitate in a therapeutic relationship.

  • Amanda Johnson

    Amanda Johnson, LPC

    Hello! My name is Amanda, I am a 2015 graduate of Carlow University where I earned my Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling. I became a Licensed Professional Counselor in 2021. I have over 10+ years experience working in the mental health field. I have worked with many ages in different settings over the years. I have also worked with victims of domestic violence; abuse, sexual assault; and human trafficking victims. I am an EMDR trained therapist. Outside of work I enjoy spending my time with my family and friends. People seek therapy for many reasons. Healing and self growth are a journey and I look forward to helping you on yours.

    Terry Cummins, LPC

    Terry is a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience guiding college students and adults through various life challenges. With a focus on anxiety, work stress, career decisions, depression, family problems, and general life difficulties, Terry offers a supportive environment where clients can explore their emotions and experiences. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in humanistic principles and person-centered therapy, emphasizing empathy, understanding, and collaboration. Terry's passion lies in serving those who may feel disconnected from their true selves or struggle with relationships in their lives. She welcomes the opportunity to partner with clients in their journey towards a more fulfilling and balanced life.

  • Jade Moore

    Jade Moore, MSW, LSW, CTRS-C

    Drawing from her diverse background, Jade brings a culturally inclusive, trauma-informed approach to her practice, working with adolescents aged 14 and older, as well as adults. With over a decade in client-centered roles, she prioritizes authentic human connections and strives to create an environment where individuals feel genuinely valued and heard. By emphasizing a person-centered, goal-oriented approach, Jade acknowledges each person's unique journey. Dedicated to empowering individuals for positive change, she employs techniques such as Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). Conversational proficiency in Spanish enhances Jade's ability to navigate diverse backgrounds, recognizing and addressing unique challenges. She firmly believes in the potential for growth and positive change in everyone, providing support and encouragement tailored to individual needs. Jade's commitment is centered on empowering you to take charge of creating positive transformations in your life.

  • Kelly Styczynski

    Kelly Styczynski, MS, LPC, CAS

    Growing up is hard. Talking about it can be too. Working primarily with children, adolescents and young adults, I strive to meet the client where they’re at. Anxiety, Depression, ADHD, and Autism Spectrum Disorder are only a few of the areas I specialize in while working with this population. I am a Certified Autism Specialist and have extensive experience with managing difficult behaviors in children.

    I pride myself on my use of techniques such as mindfulness, play therapy, different forms of creative expression (such as drawing or writing) and basic talk therapy. I draw from a clients personal interests and strengths to help structure sessions that feel more individualized and relevant to who they are. I pride myself on creating an environment that is not only welcoming and comfortable, but also promotes growth and space for self-exploration.

  • Lori Wieder

    Lori Wieder, M.Ed., NCC, C-IAYT

    Lori offers clients a warm, caring and compassionate space to share and process life’s challenges, discover and fortify inner strengths, and explore ways to grow and create more meaning, ease, joy and balance in life. Lori is a pre-licensed professional counselor, National Certified Counselor (NCC), and received her M.Ed. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Penn State University. She is also a Certified Yoga Therapist. Her approach is offered through a holistic lens, recognizing that wellness is often best supported by nurturing all aspects of ourselves – body, mind and heart. Lori’s work is informed by humanistic and acceptance and commitment therapies and she offers open, inclusive and affirming care for clients of all backgrounds.
