What is Introducing Mindfulness? Introducing Mindfulness is a 3-week, evidence -based course with (1) hour essions designed to give students a taste of mindfulness practices to help enhance their well-being. It will also help to improve their awareness of self to help navigate through stressful and challenging situations.
What are the Benefits of Introducing Mindfulness?
Although, student experiences and reasons for taking the course, may differ, There are some benefits that can be achieved when fully present and engaged, Can expect the following benefits:
Raising awareness to emotions, reactions and responses
Creating a space to Pause when a triggering situation arises
Cultivating a sense of well-being even when faced with life’s ups and downs
Improving our ability to respond skillfully and with intention
