Art Journal Alchemists
Third Monday of the month
6:00-7:30pm
Sept. 15 | Oct. 20 | Nov. 17 | Dec. 15
Creative journaling is a safe space to explore and release feelings through visual and written expression. A regular art practice can help with understanding one’s emotions and can improve clarity and insight. Art journaling also encourages experimentation with different materials and techniques without fear of judgment. It can help rekindle creativity that may be dormant due to daily life pressures.
Join us for this monthly art journaling gathering where we will learn expressive techniques to encourage healing, growth, and creativity. This group is designed for adult participants who are seeking something engaging and creative. Our monthly sessions will focus on process, exploration, discovery, and play.
This group provides a safe and sacred space for expressing our creative selves through a variety of activities including collage, acrylic paint, pastels, and watercolor.
All materials supplied. No art experience necessary.
Led by Amy Frank, LAPC, ATR-P

Narrative Therapy:
Creative Writing
Saturdays 1:00-2:30pm
Oct. 4 - Nov. 8, 2025
We all carry stories—some we’ve been told, some we’ve told ourselves. And over time, those stories can shape how we see ourselves, what we believe we’re capable of, and how we relate to others.
This six-week therapeutic writing group is a space to explore those stories with curiosity, compassion, and creativity. Using narrative therapy and guided writing prompts, you’ll begin to notice which parts of your story feel true, which ones you’ve outgrown, and which ones you’re ready to rewrite.
Each week includes a grounding check-in, a themed prompt, quiet writing time, and space to share (if you’d like to). You don’t need to be a writer to join—just someone who’s ready to show up, reflect, and express.
Whether you’re working through a life transition, healing from something hard, or simply wanting to get to know yourself better, this group offers a supportive and nonjudgmental space to begin writing the next chapter—on your own terms.

First Wednesday of each month starting Nov. 5, 2025!
6:00-7:30pm
Nov. 5 | Dec. 3 | Jan. 7 | Feb. 4 | March 4 | April 1
A space for connection and support for life’s challenges.
We know that being a man often means carrying a lot—and being expected to carry it quietly. Brothers in Balance is a group for men who are navigating the stress, pressure, and responsibilities of life and looking for a place to feel understood. Whether you’re overwhelmed, feeling disconnected, or you just know something needs to shift, this group offers a supportive environment where you don’t have to walk that path alone. We’re not here to fix each other or sit around talking in circles. This is about showing up, being real, and building connection with other men who get it. You won’t be pushed to share more than you want to—but if you’re ready to be part of honest conversations and a healthier way forward, we’d be honored to have you. Some guys come to this group because they’re going through a tough time. Others just need a place to take off the armor once in a while. Whatever brings you here, you’ll find respect, clarity, and community.

6:00-7:30pm
Nov. 12 | Dec. 10 | Jan. 14 | Feb. 11 | March 11 | April 8
Healing Heroes is a support and wellness group created specifically for those who serve on the front lines—firefighters, EMTs, paramedics, police officers, dispatchers, corrections officers, and others in high-stakes roles.
We understand that the cumulative stress of your work doesn’t always stay at work, and that talking to someone who doesn’t get the job can sometimes make things feel even more isolating. This group offers a confidential, judgment-free space to unpack the weight of the job and learn strategies to manage chronic stress, hypervigilance, trauma exposure, and emotional fatigue. Sessions blend peer support, guided self-regulation practices (like grounding, breathwork, and body awareness), and practical tools to build resilience and prevent burnout. You’ll leave each session with increased clarity, a greater sense of connection, and tools you can use immediately—both on and off duty. Whether you’re brand new to the field or a seasoned veteran, Healing Heroes is here to support your mental and emotional well-being with people who understand the realities you face

Somatic Yin Yoga
Tuesdays 5:30-6:30pm
Sept. 30 - Nov. 18, 2025
Whether you’re holding it all together on the outside but exhausted on the inside, or simply need to befriend your body and come back home to yourself, this practice is for you. Somatic Yin Yoga weaves longer-held, gentle yin postures with somatic movements to release tension in the body and mind, and nourish you on every level.
So often our bodies are stuck in fight, flight or freeze without us even realizing it — sticky shoulders, shallow breath, tight hips, clenched jaw, that constant hum of anxious energy and buzzing thoughts... this practice meets you there.
Grounded yin yoga shapes work with your muscles and fascia to soften long-held tensions. (Supported by tons of props, time and tenderness!)
Embodied mindfulness practices release the grip of busy “thinking brain” and guide awareness down and into the body to rest in a powerful space of quiet awareness.
Somatic movements retrain the nervous system to release habitual patterns, contractions, and stuck energy.
Come as you are and connect, explore, release, and cultivate inner stillness. Somatic Yin Yoga is yoga from the inside out.
Led by Lori Wieder, LAPC, C-IAYT
Cost: $120 for the full 8-week series
