Layers of Presence: An Art & Live Music Experience for Wellness

$60.00

Date and Time coming soon!

Step into a creative experience where art-making and live music come together to quiet the mind, awaken the senses, and invite authentic self-expression. In this expressive arts group, you'll explore a variety of art materials, mixed media techniques, and intentional sound experiences while creating a series of layered abstract paintings. As live music unfolds throughout the session, you'll be encouraged to respond intuitively—allowing color, texture, rhythm, and movement to guide your creative process in a supportive, judgment-free environment.

Layering becomes more than an artistic technique—it becomes a practice in freedom, presence, and trust. By working on several small paintings simultaneously, you'll discover the relief of letting go of perfection and embracing curiosity instead. Each layer offers an opportunity to pause, listen, respond, and begin again, reminding us that beauty often emerges through the process rather than the plan. Like our own lives, the most compelling works of art are often those that evolve over time.

Participants will experience a live, therapist-led sound immersion using a variety of acoustic instruments, creating an atmosphere that encourages slowing down, focused attention, and creative expression. The music is offered as an invitation to notice one's inner experience while engaging fully in the artistic process.

Whether you're seeking stress relief, creative renewal, or simply a meaningful way to reconnect with yourself, this unique experience offers space to slow down and be fully present with what is unfolding—one layer at a time. All art materials are provided, and no prior art experience is necessary. Come as you are, immerse yourself in the healing combination of creativity and live music, and leave with both original artwork and a renewed sense of inspiration.

All art materials are supplied. No prior art experience required.

Cost: $60
