Private Drumming Session

from $90.00

A personalized drumming experience for individuals and private groups

A Private Drumming Session is a facilitated wellness experience designed exclusively for you, or for the people you choose to experience it with. Using rhythm, intentional drumming, and periods of quiet awareness, sessions offer an engaging space for grounding, self-expression, connection, and present-moment awareness.

Unlike a traditional drum lesson or public drum circle, there is nothing to learn, perform, or get “right.” No musical or drumming experience is necessary. Each session is responsive to the individual or group and may incorporate simple rhythms, repetition, improvisation, call-and-response, and intentional periods of listening and stillness.

Sessions may be experienced individually or shared privately with a partner, family members, friends, or a small group of your choosing. Your session is reserved exclusively for you and the people you choose to attend.

What to Expect

  • A brief arrival and grounding period

  • Simple guided rhythms and repetitive patterns

  • Call-and-response drumming

  • Improvisational and expressive drumming

  • Exploration of tempo, intensity, rhythm, and silence

  • Opportunities to notice sound, movement, vibration, and the experience of rhythm in the body

  • Periods of intentional listening and quiet awareness

  • A brief period of integration and closing

Every session is different. Some experiences may become energetic, playful, and expressive, while others may naturally become slower, quieter, or more reflective. The experience is guided according to the comfort, pace, and interests of the individual or group.

No musical experience is required. Instruments are provided.

Private Session Pricing

  • 1 person — $90

  • 2 people — $130

  • 3 people — $170

  • 4 people — $210

All sessions are 60 minutes and reserved exclusively for you and your chosen participants. You will not be combined with other individuals or groups.

Private sessions are available for up to four participants. For groups of five or more, please contact us about private group drumming experiences.

About the Facilitator

Sessions are facilitated by Josh Crownover, a Licensed Professional Counselor and trained musician with additional training in therapeutic and wellness-based applications of rhythm and sound. His approach brings together musical experience, intentional use of rhythm, and a trauma-informed understanding of safety, presence, and human connection to create an experience that is accessible regardless of musical background or ability.

Private Drumming Sessions are a wellness service and is not psychotherapy or a substitute for mental health or medical treatment.

For individuals already participating in therapy, this experience may serve as a meaningful complement to their overall wellness journey.
